Crow Wing Outfitters specializes in fly fishing for smallmouth bass on central Minnesota's Mississippi River, and most trips take place on the stretches between Brainerd and Little Falls. Trips are operated as western style float trips, specializing in fly fishing. All trips are conducted using a non-motorized drift boat and are tailored uniquely for each anglers abilities and expectations, whether you are an expert or a beginner. Although Crow Wing Outfitters specializes in fly fishing techniques, we can provide fishing trips using spinning gear or a mix of techniques if desired. We at Crow Wing Outfitters practice catch and release no matter the style of fishing. Crow Wing Outfitters LLC is fully insured and has years of guiding, fly fishing, and drift boat experience! TRIPÂ PACKAGES
All trips are western style float fishing trips, using a drift boat.  Trips are generally tailored to fly fishing for smallmouth bass on the Mississippi river between Brainerd and Little Falls in Minnesota.  This section of water is an incredible smallmouth bass fishery, with fish taking flies willingly.  Although, Crow Wing Outfitters specializes in fly fishing, trips can be tailored to focus on fishing with spinning tackle or a mix of spinning tackle and fly fishing equipment.  Trips targeting other species in the Mississippi river are also available.
FULL DAY FISHING TRIPS
$430 1 or 2 anglers)
This trip includes one or two anglers.  Trips range in time from 8 - 10 hours long.  Most trips take place on the Mississippi river, focusing on pursuing smallmouth bass on the fly, but other options can be considered based on angler preference's and local fishing report.
HALF DAY FISHING TRIPS
$325 (1 or 2 anglers)
This trip includes one or two anglers.  Trips range in time from 4 - 5 hours long.  Most trips take place on the Mississippi river, focusing on pursuing smallmouth bass on the fly, but other options can be considered based on angler preference's and local fishing report.
SCENIC FLOAT TRIPS
$225Â -$300
If you are more interested in floating the river and taking in the scenery, scenic float trips are also available. Â Trips are $275 for a half day and $300 for a full day. Trips can accommodate 1 - 3 passengers.

Instruction if desired.
Fly fishing equipment like rod, reel, line, leader, tippet, and flies. Basically, anything related to fly equipment for a day of fishing is provided.
Basic spinning tackle and gear.
Lunch (Sandwich, chips, and a side).
Water.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING

Minnesota Fishing Licenses.
Sunscreen.

Proper clothing.
Rain gear.
